3D Saint Patrick’s Hat Cookies
To make 3D St. Patrick’s Hat Cookies you need
Sugar cookie dough colored with Geen and Black, I used mint green with leaf green
Marzipan, colored with Gold yellow, you can substitute for fondant or modeling chocolate.
Royal icing (Small batch royal icing recipe)
3 fluted round cookies cutters from Bakedeco
I used Americolor Food Gel Colorings from

Bake the cookies. You need 4 cookies per hat.3 are green and one ring is black, as seen in the picture below. Cut one large green round and 2 medium green round s and one medium black round. Bake, once cookies are baked and still hot use a small round cutter to cut out center from the large round and from the black round. Let the cookie cool completely before handling with your hands.

Using marzipan colored with gold, roll the marzipan into mini balls and flat each ball into a small disk to form the coins.

Using marzipan create a buckle, roll the marzipan into a rope then from it into a buckle, you can make it round or rectangle.

Using royal icing stack cookies together, attach buckle onto the cookie using royal icing, and then fill the hat with marzipan coins.
