Actually I only used henna to color my hair, it was a bit messy having the green stuff in my hair overnight but the result was fantastic. I think I could have seen my own reflection in my hair, it was so shiny after henna application. I loved it.
I wanted to try my hand in creating  special tea cookies using Mehndi designs, few nights ago I did several sketches and last night I pipped my way into the ...

I wanted to try the same color of the icing, but  with 2 different tones of intensity,  I have to say I'm quite happy how they turned out. What do you think? Would you like a cookie like this to go with your afternoon tea?

I made these for a wonderful young girl Shaina who so graciously posed  for me last Sunday.
I hope to bring you some shots from the shoot soon.

  5. Sorry..i have to drop by again for a second look. :) I really love these designs you have created and the blue on blue color! And your flooding is perfect too! Not one bit of air bubble!

    I too have been wanting to try Mehndi designs on cookies..i've always been intrigue by the designs when my indian friends have them all drawn on their hands/palm before wedding and celebrations.

    However, I have to practice a lot more piping before i can reach your level of delicate piping! But the problem with me is i am so lazy to practice..LOL!

    Glory - It's been a while since I did delicate piping, so I better keep practicing ;-), I can loose the touch really fast. I was really please with the colors too.
