Mehndi Inspired Tea Cookies
For those of you who are not familiar with Mehndi Designs you can read about them more here , and to see what Henna looks like before it’s used as a dye check out this site.
Actually I only used henna to color my hair, it was a bit messy having the green stuff in my hair overnight but the result was fantastic. I think I could have seen my own reflection in my hair, it was so shiny after henna application. I loved it.

I wanted to try the same color of the icing, but with 2 different tones of intensity, I have to say I’m quite happy how they turned out. What do you think? Would you like a cookie like this to go with your afternoon tea?

I too have been wanting to try Mehndi designs on cookies..i've always been intrigue by the designs when my indian friends have them all drawn on their hands/palm before wedding and celebrations.
However, I have to practice a lot more piping before i can reach your level of delicate piping! But the problem with me is i am so lazy to practice..LOL!
