Pumpkin Apple Smoothie
I have been without a blender for a few years. It all changed last week, Braun Household Product company sent me a new PureMix Blender 7172BK to review. I jumped on the opportunity. I was especially keen on trying out Braun’s Smoothie2GoCups, included in the Pure Mix Blender Set.
Smoothie2GoBlending Set is compatible with all Braun JB 7 jug blenders, type : 4142, 4142 4144.
Blender arrived Friday, via Fedex and I was so excited to try it out.
Loving the seasonal fruits I decided to make pumpkin puree using the Braun Pure Mix Blender, and with Smoothie2Go Cups I made delicious Pumpkin Apple Smoothie.
I bought a large edible pumpkin at a local farm, and I blended it to smooth velvety texture using the puree speed setting.

Pumpkin Apple Smoothie Recipe
1 medium apple, peeled and dices
2tbl oats
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4tsp cinnamon
1/8tsp ground ginger
1/8tsp freshly zested nutmeg
1/4cup milk
1tsp honey

I've been shopping around for a blender.
I had a top of the line blender from a major Braun competitor and sadly it only lasted 3 years.
I looked into a 7 horsepower blender that does everything but mow the lawn, however the price tag was out of my budget.
This blender is more than impressive. Thanks for the demonstration.
