Heart Monogram Cookies

This cookie design is one of the most requested, especially for weddings or Valentine’s day. I first made it for a friend of mine 2 years ago and I’ve been making it ever since. These particular ones I made these for a May Wedding.
You can use any cookie recipe you like, I usually use sugar cookie with fresh lemon royal icing. I find that fresh lemon juice really adds to the flavor, it is my favorite.

 

•  Once your cookies are iced and icing has dried you can move onto the next step. Using edible food marker, I used a Edible Food Marker with fine tip  write love love love all over the cookie, let dry
• Make a simple stencil, this can be made from a paper or stencil blank
• Using the food maker again, using the stencil trace the outer lines onto the cookie
• Pipe and fill the letters with  icing of contrasting color, let dry
