Mickey Mouse Cake

This is my first Mickey Cake.  I always try to be somewhat original but when I searched for a Mickey Cake on internet  hundreds if not thousands of cake pictures came up. So it is safe to say that the first tier is a pretty common design, all I added was one more Mickey’s arm, mostly I’ve seen them with just one arm,  I wanted it to look like he is coming out of the cake, holding the top tier. Topper itself  – Mickey’s ears – is made from a chocolate cookie and it is leaning towards one side on purpose.Throughout the whole cake decorating process I was listening to this song – Oh Mickey you’re so fine  and I was also dancing so this was probably the most fun cake I’ve ever made!

Cake Details
Marshmallow Fondant
Swiss Buttercream
Chocolate Cookies(topper)
Royal Icing
Haniela’s Velvet Pound Cake

Bellow you’ll find few pictures from the process, I had my camera handy but forgot to take more pictures.

So cute! I love the blue color on the bottom tier. My favorite part is the addition of the chocolate cookie for the ears at the top.
