Patriotic Star Cookies
With Memorial Day and 4th of July ahead of us I decided to make some Patriotic Cookies. Stars came up. I was inspired by Patriotic Barn Star Cookies made by Mike from Semi Sweet. Mike made them last year. You can check them out here
I decided to go with simple wet on wet technique, pulling white royal icing through the red to create triangles. No need to wait for the sections to dry or crust.

Americolor Gel Food Colorings
White Sanding Sugar
15 second consistency : blue dark, blue light
10 second consistency – white, red
piping consistency – blue light
