My New Airbrush

Few weeks back I finally purchased my first airbrush. Yay. You know I feel like I’m the last person getting one.( and I still don’t own the Kopykake!) It seems like everyone is using airbrush these days, adding new look to cookies and cakes. It was time for me to upgrade, too.

When I first started to look for one, I contacted Marlyn,  from Montreal Confections. For me personally she is the master airbrush decorator. You can check out her video tutorials on her You Tube Chanel. She is super talented.
We got on Skype and she really gave me a great insight on what works, all the cons and pros of few different airbrush machines. She narrowed my search and I ended up getting an airbrush she recommended.

MASTER Cake Decorating Airbrush Kit with 12 Food Color Set

It came in the box…

What is great about it, it  also came with 12 airbrush colors. Great for a beginner like myself. I’m still in the process of learning. My biggest problem is over spraying.  I have to work out the trigger sensitivity a little bit. But so far I’m really happy with it. I’ve used it few times and it works great.

When compressor is engaged it shakes a little, which is normal. I placed a Non Slip Rubber Pad
underneath so it doesn’t “walk” off my counter top.
