We are launching our very first Video Tutorial Collaboration on You Tube. I'm really excited about this project, and hope you will be too. Marlyn from Montreal Confections had a wonderful idea to create a video collaboration project and invited me to be part of it, thanks for inviting me to come along Marlyn.
I bet you are wondering "What is a Video Tutorial Collaboration?" Well, let me fill you in.
Marlyn(Montreal Confections), Elena(Just Me) and myself(Haniela's), we decided to collaborate on a monthly project. Our goal is to create and share with you variety of Video Tutorials within a specific theme. We aim to do so every month, featuring different themes, and fun party ideas.Your suggestions are also welcome.
We strive to create easy to follow tutorials on decorated cookies, cakes, cupcakes, sugar art, party decorations, ideas for desserts tables, appetizers and more.
As you have probably guessed already this month we are focusing on a Princess Party and we have prepared 6 video tutorials for you, all of them can be viewed on you tube. We divided these 6 tutorials into 2 segments. Today you can view the first segment consisting of 3 videos and next week there will be the second segment showing off another 3 videos.
For this week I made Unicorn Poop Cupcakes and yes I said "poop" in my video more than twice.
To decorate these Cupcakes I used :
Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Frosting(will frost about 20 unicorn poop cupcakes)
2 packages of cream cheese
1stick of room temperature butter
2 + cups of powdered sugar(use more if desired)
1tsp vanilla extract
1tsp vanilla bean paste
1tbl milk or heavy cream
food color to tint the icing to desired color
- Mix cream cheese until smooth, add butter and mix until smooth, add powdered sugar and mix on low speed until combined, increase the speed and beat for 2 minutes until smooth, add vanilla extract and vanilla bean, add milk or heavy cream and beat until smooth, tint with food coloring and decorate your cupcakes. If frosting gets too soft, chill it for 15 minutes, if you leave it longer it may get too hard to pipe.
