As you know I have a great affection for shimmer on cookies, mainly I use a
wet application of luster dust and I just started using Pearl Spray Mist earlier this year. I haven’t really been using a lot of sprays nor I own fancy airbrush. But, I’m falling for metallic sprays and I believe my resistance to airbrush will be broken by the end of the next year. Well maybe. But until I own one of those air brush things here is a little tutorial on decorating cookies with Color Spray.
To make these cookies you will need :
Red, Forest Green, Leaf green gel food coloring
- Ice the baked cookies with red royal icing, let dry completely.
- Using stencil and gold color mist, apply stencil onto the cookie.Let dry.
- Pipe small holly leaves, add red berries, let dry. I used a combination of forest green and leaf green to color my icing.
- Pipe a white border, sprinkle or dip into the sanding sugar.
- Done.
