To make these tartlets I used my Sweet Bread dough for the base dough - recipe, filling included homemade farmer's cheese - recipe, and fresh fruit. I used fresh blueberries, pitted cherries, sliced nectarines and strawberries. Quite frankly I can't decide which one was my favorite. They were really scrumptious. You might remember Apricot Tartlets I made a while back. They are similar, but without the addition of cheese.I really like the added cheese.
Recipe can be found here
for the Cheese filling, I used about a 1tsp for each cavity.
about 1 1/2 cups Farmer's or Ricotta cheese, sugar or honey to taste, add one egg yolk, combine, add pinch of cinnamon to taste.

I wonder if I ever get tired of these...hm I guess not, never actually. I love them so much, they remind me of childhood and days spent at my grandmother's.
