Recycled Cookie Gift Containers

Saturday, March 13, 2010

Have you ever wondered what to do with empty Wilton Meringue Powder Container, Pringles Potato Chip container or your empty coffee tin  ? Don't throw it out just yet...
Easy way to recycle these is to turn them into  a special cookie gift boxes. It only takes couple of minutes, few scrapbooking papers, some glue and creative mind .
This "facial" lift also makes for a pretty presentation.

Wilton Meringue Powder container like this one..also smells good inside.:-))

You need :

empty container
scissors
scrapbooking papers
super glue
ribbons
I like to use mounting squares/ double sided tape works the same/
ruller
pencil etc.

It is really easy, just few measurements, some cutting, glue...and here is the recycled cookie gift box

I also tried this with a tin container that I bought at Michael's, right after the Christmas, they were going for 30 cents each so I bought  a few. They are ready to be used for Christmas, but I dressed up one just to show you that same thing can be done with any container.

and here st the finished tin :

I think I'll use this one for Mother's Day.:-)
